Chapter & Vines Is Open Again: The Next Chapter
Chapter & Vines is open again — and this chapter feels more real than ever.
What began as an idea about bringing books, thoughtful discovery and genuine connection together has grown into an intimate Dublin literary salon. Chapter & Vines now has a place in the city where readers can meet, authors can be discovered and stories can move beyond the page.
The heart of it has not changed. This is still about making reading feel personal: the right book at the right moment, conversations worth having and a community that welcomes curiosity without asking anyone to perform their way into it.
What is open now
There are several ways to be part of Chapter & Vines. Membership is a 12-month reading experience designed to make books and literary connection a meaningful part of the year.
If you would rather begin with one surprise, choose a Classic Blind Date, Ritual Blind Date or Community Blind Date. Each edition starts with the pleasure of not knowing exactly what you are about to meet.
You can also browse the Books collection for carefully chosen titles, including contemporary Irish writing and books that invite a slower, more thoughtful kind of attention.
The Dublin salon
The most important change is that in-person gatherings are no longer a future ambition. Chapter & Vines currently operates a real Dublin literary salon: small, welcoming events where books create the starting point for conversation rather than the boundary around it.
The next dates are listed on the Salons page. New gatherings will continue to be added there, with members and the Reading Room hearing about them first.
A next chapter, not a new identity
Reopening is not about becoming something louder or less personal. It is about giving the original idea more room to live: online through books, memberships and discovery, and in Dublin through intimate salons and collaborations.
There is more to come, but Chapter & Vines is not waiting to begin. The doors are open, the books are ready and the conversations have already started.
Welcome back — and welcome to the next chapter.
